His name was chosen by God to represent God’s salvation to the world. The name of Jesus represents His authority and power. When we do things in the name of Jesus, we are representing Jesus to others. When we pray in the name of Jesus, we are putting our faith in the One who died for our sins and is King of kings and Lord of lords.
