Alex Del ToroAlex del Toro’s sermon on “The Church in the Wilderness” compared the Israelites in the wilderness to the church today. Moses and his chief assistants were compared to the ministry leaders in the church. Alex ended the sermon with an explanation of how the Pastor of the local church needed the support of the Elders, Deacons and Board to do the work of the church.

Alex Del Toro’s sermon on “Elijah’s God: The same yesterday, today and tomorrow” was a comparison between the God of the Old Testament and the God of the New Testament. Alex used Elijah’s confrontation with Ahab to illustrate his points that included how we love the New Testament God and Alex Del Torowonder about the Old Testament God. A notable quote is ” It’s the same God and He loves richly and deeply”.

Alex Del Toro’s sermon on “Lessons to be Learned from the life of a Goose” used examples from the way geese fly in a V formation and the way they interact with each other especially in migration flights to exhort us to work together and to care for one another.

He used the following scriptures: Ex. 18:1-17, Luke 15:11, Ex.17, rom. 12:10, 1Thes. 3:12, 1 John 4:11, 1 Thes. 5:12-13, 1 Cor. 12:26, Rom. 12:15-16.
