Paul describes the sermon as: False teaching creeps into the church in several different ways. As a result, it is easy for us to develop a misconception of who God is. When we have a misconception of God, it lends towards a misconception of our self image. A misconception of God can also lend towards a dangerous view of sin. A weakened understanding towards sin also lends to a degraded view of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We need to get rooted in scripture, develop sound doctrine, and contend for the faith. Yet, we must contend without being contentious.
Paul used the following scriptures: Jude 3-4, 19-20

Dear brethren,
We are a group of christian here in Nigeria who refused the false teaching of our elders. So when we read about church history in Nigeria we understood that foreign missionaries brought christianity to us in Nigeria. We were nothing but God used foreign missionaries to transformed us both spiritual and physical. So some of our fathers want to deviate from the truth. We are here to face the truth nothing but the truth. We need the whole truth from you. please if you have your branch church here in Nigeria, please you refer us to them so that we get study materials and bibles from them. But if not please we wish to know if will like to affiliate with us here in Nigeria. We also care for widows and orphans in our newly established congregation. Thanks
Yours in service.
