Pastor Paul describes the sermon as: We are transitioning from an understanding of sin, and victory over sin, to the question: “Now what?” We are to carry the light of Christ, not bend to the wants of our culture, but to show His light to others. Let His light shin by elevating God, not your own pride. Let His light shine by using the gifts that God has given. Make the decision today to be “light bearer” for Jesus.

The victorious Christian life is directly due to God’s Spirit in us. God, by His Spirit, helps in our weaknesses. As with the Apostle Paul, we can truly say, “In our weakness, He is strong!”

Pastor Paul describes the sermon as: Today, we are going to talk about the commandments of God. God’s Law both creates a need for a Savior and it fulfills that need in Jesus Christ. When one comes to Jesus by grace through faith, they are not to then disregard God’s Word. Rather, they are to embrace it with the mind, heart, and hands. If you are not excited about God’s truth, then today’s message is going to challenge you.

The Apostle Paul knew those benefits and tells us to rejoice in them. In today’s message, we will be looking at five of the benefits in the gospel of Christ found in Romans.

Pastor Paul describes the sermon as: Are you a part of the family of God? There is only one family, and it is through Jesus. We all share in the same condemnation of sin. We all have access to the same grace through Jesus. In Christ, we all are a part of the same family of God. As a part of that family, we all are obligated to keep His commandments.

Pastor Paul describes the sermon as: We are beginning a new series of messages out of Romans. I am excited about this expository series because I feel like God has been bringing even more of His truth to light as I have studied. In today’s message, we will look at three revelations concerning the gospel. Too often, we focus on just one: salvation. However, as we will see, God’s righteousness and wrath are both revealed in the gospel as well. In application, true believers are those that have the testimony of Christ and keep His commandments (Rev 12:17).

Pastor Paul describes the sermon as: Being a father is a great blessing, but also comes with challenges. God is our first example of being a father. We can also look to God for help. We can lean on His strength and power to be a better father.
