Mickey Banda’s sermon on “Kaux-wah Knee Malh” centered on a contrast between the healing of the woman with a hemorrhage and the bringing of life back to the daughter of Jairus, an official at the synagogue, both found in Luke 8:40-56. Mickey mixed these incidents with a modern report of a bible translator working in Bolivia with the Quechua speaking indigenous people and their fascination with the story of the woman with a hemorrhage.
Mickey used the following scriptures: Luke 8:40-56, Lev 17, Rom 10

Mickey,
Thank you for coming to Conroe and speaking to us. We enjoyed having you and your family.
The contrast between the two miracles was about as distant as it could be, but truly “God is no respecter of person”, so the woman with the hemorrhage was just as valuable to Jesus as the rich man’s daughter. It is such a blessing to know that we can all depend on the Grace of God, if our desire is for Him. It is really our decision! May God bless you and yours, Mickey.
