Jeff Kendrick’s sermon on “The Two Great Questions in Life” covered “What is God’s will?” and “Is God satisfied with the way I have responded to His call in my life?” God’s Will as recorded in scripture, apostolic exhortations and prophetic scripture were the basis of practical advice and analysis to the questions. Some notable quotes were: “You are what you habitually practice” and “God does not control everything, by design.”
Jeff used the following scriptures: Gen. 1:28-31, Ex. 20:1 – 17, Luke 6:27-38, Rom. 12:1-2, Eph. 1:15-19, Matt. 6:9-13, Gal. 5:22-23, Prov. 21:9, Isaiah 40:21-31, Rev 22:10-17, Rom. 8:31

Jeff,
I didn’t get to see you after church, but, as usual, I thoroughly enjoyed your sermon. It was obvious that you put a lot of thought and time into it.
“The Two Great Questions in Life” are really about the whole experience of our abiding in the will of God. I really think it was good to ponder on these questions because there are many who have a problem when their prayers are not answered as they want them answered. If we can believe that God wants the very best for us, there is much consolation in that fact. Thanks again for your words of wisdom. Surely do appreciate you and Jeana!
