June 30th, 2016 – Sermon on “The Mission of the Church” by Paul Pedersen

Paul PedersenPastor Paul describes the sermon as : We all have a mandate to love God with our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Loving God is an act of worship. It is our highest priority as Christians to be worshipers of God. Through worship we can experience God’s presence and power in our lives. In this message, I look at the theological, practical, and spiritual aspects of worship. I will look at the first question: What is worship? The second question I look at is: how are we to worship? The last question I look at is: what happens when we worship?

Paul used the following scriptures: John 4:23; Colossians 3:16; Ephesians 5:18-19; Psalm 100

    Paul,

To feel the beauty of Holiness is the very closest we can come to the experience of God in our daily lives. I appreciated the thoughts of your time alone with God. There isn’t a way of expressing the Holiness of God that is felt when our souls meet the Master. Thank you for reminding us of the opportunity we may be missing when we don’t have a time set aside for communing with our Savior!
