Paul describes the sermon as: In Joshua 24, the people of Israel had a successful military campaign. After Joshua had successfully led God’s people to the promised land, Joshua called the people of Israel to build an altar and dedicate themselves to the Lord. He called them to fear the Lord, serve Him, repent of serving other gods, and to choose the Lord. Joshua told the people that regardless of what they choose, “Yet, as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” We have the same choice for our homes and families
