Jeff Kendrick’s sermon “The Sun, the Moon and especially the Stars ” may have been called a talk except for the amount of scriptures he read, that made it into a reading with comments. Creating a detailed list of angelic characteristics by going through the Old and New Testaments in order, we all know better what an angel is and isn’t and have a better understanding of angels in our world. Abraham’s contact with the Lord and angels, especially around the destruction of Sodom was well covered.
Jeff used the following scriptures: Hebrews 13:2, Hebrews 1: 13-14, Genesis 1:6-24, Genesis 3:22-24, Gen 6:1-2, Joshua 5: 13-15, John 6: 45-46, Genesis 18: 1-33, Genesis 19: 1-29, Judges 13:6, 2Kings 6: 15-17, Daniel 3:24-25, Daniel 8:15-19, Ezekiel 8:2, Luke 2: 8-13, Matt 28:1-4, Acts 10:30, Revelation 10:1, 1 Cor 13:1, Matt 22:28,-30, 1Cor 6:1 -3, 1Peter 1:10-12, Romans 8:31-39

Jeff. . .
The computer is up and running, so I can tell you how much I enjoyed
your sermon. “Angels” is a very interesting topic, and you did a good job of explaining what the Bible tells us about them!
Thanks so much for your great contribution to our church. This Sermon Blog is a great idea and I do thank you for all the work you put in for us! Look forward to you and yours on that bench across from us each Sabbath! See you tomorrow!
