Paul describes the sermon as: There is salvation through no other. Jesus is the only way to God. Without Him, we are in a place of lostness. Yet, our Shepherd Jesus sought us out by coming as a man and dying on the cross. Only Jesus saves us from our sins and destruction. Now it is our responsibility to share that good news with others. There is so much joy for the one that comes to know the salvation that is only through Jesus.

October 12th, 2019 – Sermon on “No Other Name“ by Paul Pedersen

Paul describes the sermon as: Christ was given a name above every other name. There is no other name by which we can be saved. That name is Jesus. His name was chosen by God to represent God’s salvation to the world. The name of Jesus represents His authority and power. When we do things in the name of Jesus, we are representing Jesus to others. When we pray in the name of Jesus, we are putting our faith in the One who died for our sins and is King of kings and Lord of lords.

October 5th, 2019 – Sermon on “No Other God“ by Paul Pedersen

Paul describes the sermon as: God commands us in scripture to have no other gods before Him. Our greatest challenge isn’t necessarily overcoming the influence of atheism. Rather, our greater daily challenge is to refrain from putting other “idols” before Him. Many times, we are not even aware of what idols we have in our lives. Let us all be faithful in responding faithfully to God’s command and challenge.

Paul used the following scriptures: Exodus 20: 1-4

Paul describes the sermon as: The goal of love is for it to last. Love of God and others must learn to be patient and long-suffering. It is a love which bears the test of time. The book of James teaches us how to have that kind of love.

Paul used the following scriptures: James 5:8-14

Paul describes the sermon as: Our words can build each other up or tear each other down. When we obey God by loving others, we will only use our words to build up. If we find it hard to encourage others with our words, then our heart is not right. Out of a heart full of God’s love will come words which encourage and build up.

Paul used the following scriptures: James 3:9-10; 4:11; Mt 15:11, 18; Eph 4:29; Ecc 5:2; Ps 89:1

Paul describes the sermon as: Today, we continue to discuss the topic of love from the book of James. Love of God and others requires us to put faith into action. Without living out our faith, our faith has no substance. James calls that kind of faith dead. Genuine Christianity puts faith into action.
Paul used the following scriptures: James 2: 14-23

Paul describes the sermon as: In this message, today, we continue with the theme of “El Shadday”. Last Sabbath, we saw the hand, shadow, and voice of the Almighty God. Paul used the following scriptures: Gen 17:1-2; Joel 1:15; ]Th 5:2-11; Rev 1:8; 6:17; 16:14, 16; 21:22-23; 22:12, 14, 17
