Paul describes the sermon as: God is almighty! God is all-mighty and all powerful. If  our faith could only grasp the smallest measure of this truth, our lives would be transformed. Today, we will look at scriptures showing the power of His hand, shadow, and voice. It is not a small thing to say that
God is almighty in my life.

Paul describes the sermon as: In scripture, we see great examples of forgiveness such as Christ Jesus and the Apostle Paul. Even on the cross, Jesus prayed, “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” We are commanded by Jesus to forgive each other without limit. The Apostle Paul warned the church that unforgiveness invites Satan to take advantage of us. It is important that we develop a heart attitude of love and forgiveness.

Paul used the following scriptures: Luke 17:1-4; 2 Cor 2:7-11; Eph 4:26-32; Col 3:12-13

Paul describes the sermon as: The Bible is clear about what happens when we die and the effects of sin after we die. The judgement of God is a real thing. Yet, through Jesus Christ, we are granted eternal life. Those that repent, believe in Jesus, and follow His commands are promised to take part in the resurrection and be changed into immortality.

Paul used the following scriptures: Ps16:9-11, 18:4-8, Hosea 13:14, 1 Cor 15:3-4,22-24,51-55, Isaiah 52:1,7

Paul describes the sermon as: In 1 Corinthians 16:13-14, Paul is speaking to the leaders in the church, but his instruction is valid for all men and women. We should watch, stand fast in the faith, be bold like men, and be strong in the Lord. All this is to be done with love. This message is directed towards dads and men, but is important for all of us.

The conditions to experience God’s Spirit have never changed. The blessings of God’s Spirit are important for the health and growth of the church. Paul describes the sermon as: Christ’s example is the most important for us to follow. If we are following after Him, our example becomes important for others to understand God. The family dynamic provides a means to understand Jesus Christ. With the home, we can understand His love for us, that we are to follow Him, and how He loves those new or weak in their faith. .

Paul describes the sermon as: In Joshua 24, the people of Israel had a successful military campaign. After Joshua had successfully led God’s people to the promised land, Joshua called the people of Israel to build an altar and dedicate themselves to the Lord. He called them to fear the Lord, serve Him, repent of serving other gods, and to choose the Lord. Joshua told the people that regardless of what they choose, “Yet, as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” We have the same choice for our homes and families
May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.

May 11, 2019 – Sermon on the “Guided by wisdom“ by Paul Pedersen

Paul describes the sermon as: A home built by God’s wisdom is a home established in righteousness. In this message, we focus on three commitments. The first commitment is: I will guide my home by God’s wisdom. Human wisdom is good, but God knows best for our families. We need His wisdom. The second commitment is: I will guide my home with the fear of the Lord. The scriptures tell us that fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. The third commitment is: I will guide my home toward righteousness. God’s wisdom will guide us towards living rightly before Him. Fear of the Lord will compel us to live upright in His eyes. When we guide our home by these standards, we can then experience the blessings He promises for our homes.

May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.

Paul used the following scriptures: Prov 24:3-4. 1:7, 2:20-21, Eph 3:14-15, Matt 7:24-27

Paul describes the sermon as: After Solomon finished building the temple, he consecrated it to the Lord. The Lord declared that He would put His name there. That is the same thing we need for our homes. What was true for Solomon can be true for our homes too. When we commit our homes and families to God, we can also believe God for Him to bless them.

Paul used the following scriptures: 2 Ch 7:14-16; Ps 51:10, 12, 17; 119:105; Pr 18:10; Jas 4:10
