Frank Camarillo’s sermon on “Making the Transition Count” included examples of transitions in life and quickly focused on transitions the church body faces. Frank challenged older believers to actively turn over their responsibilities to younger people and called on the younger people to seek a double portion as in Elisha and Elijah.
Frank used the following scriptures: 2 Kings 2:1-5, Zach. 8:4-5, 2 Kings 13:21

Frank,
It was so good to have you and Anna with us Sabbath. Your sermon was a challenge to all of us. . . the young and the old. As you noted, there must be a proper balance, as well as patience, love and respect for one another. We cannot become too assertive because we truly need each other to guide, direct and counsel those in our congregation. The District churches are reaping the benefits of having you there to encourage them, but we miss your smiling faces here. May you gain many blessings as you serve Him! Gladys McCoy
