Nathan Lawson’s sermon on “Our Lord’s Return! What is still hanging in your closet? ” is the second in a series of 5 sermons about the return of Jesus scheduled for the start of 2014. Nathan focused on the aspect of our being ready for the return of the Lord and on our putting on the garments of the spiritual renewal. Notable quotes included “there are things we Christians must do to be ready for the great moment (of Christ’s return)” and ” ..ready needs to be an always moment in our lives”. He used the concept of clothing hanging in our closet to illustrate being clothed in the garments of righteousness and asked if we were serious about being dressed and ready.

Great job Nathan, you are an example to all of us in the church that contribute sermons. Thanks for covering the subject thoroughly and keeping our interest.

Nathan,
Enjoyed your sermon on “Our Lord’s Return! What is still hanging in your closet?” Reminds us that the Lord has good things put up for us if we will only make use of them. This was a novel approach to the subject and one that should encourage us in our walk with Christ. He is always near and ready to help us if we will turn our lives and our wills over to Him. I am really enjoying these sermons on Christ’s return. As the world gets darker, Jesus shines brighter, and we can have hope that all will be well with us if we keep our lives centered on Jesus. Appreciate you, Nathan, and your encouragement to the congregation. . .
