Some of the central questions he asked and illuminated with scripture were “When will Jesus return” and “When will the end of the world be?”
John used the following scriptures: Matt 24:3, Hab 2:3, 1 Thes 5:1-4, 2 Pt 3: , 2 Tim 3:1-4, Amos 9:14-15, Zeph 3:19-20, Rev 16:12-20, Zach 12:3-6, 14:1-4, Luke 21:25-28, Rev 19:11-16, 1 Thes 4:16

John,
Ken and I were saddened that due to Ken’s discomfort, we were not able to be in church today to hear your sermon, but, Thanks to Jeff, we were able to listen to it on the computer and feel the anticipation and joy of that wonderful day and glorious occurrence. So few sermons lately have made that day seem real, and I think it is a wonderful thing to especially let our young people feel the description of that Day and the songs of our ancestors telling of the yearning that they felt as they waited for that Day. Thank you, John, for making the Coming of the Lord feel real to all of us. You captured it perfectly! May God be very close to you and June and your family.
Gladys
Thank you Gladys! We certainly missed you and Ken.
