Frank Camarillo’s sermon on “Touched by the Master” centered on the story of the leper being cleansed by Jesus. To begin Frank asked 3 three questions: 1. How many have met Jesus personally, 2. How many have been touched by Jesus, and 3. How many have experienced an event that has changed their lives (with Jesus). Frank then expanded the story of the leper by filling in the probable details of his life, the discovery of leprosy, his life as a leper, and his healing by Jesus. The sermon was concluded with a call for those that needed healing to come to the altar for prayer. Nathan Lawson led the prayer.
Frank used the following scriptures: Matt 8:1-3

Frank and Anna call the COG7 in Conroe their home church but they travel between the churches in the greater Houston area and beyond representing the COG7 district leadership.
Hi Frank,
I liked the way you filled in the details of the leper’s life. I have started viewing sermons in terms of “are they getting spiritual traction or just spinning the wheels” I thought your sermon got some traction and that may be all any of us can ask.
Jeff
Frank,
You really made the leper’s life come alive. How it would have affected the whole family is something that I had never thought about, but, of course, it would have made an extreme difference. To actually have Jesus touch him must have been an humbling event. For us to be touched spiritually by Jesus should give us the same awe and wonder. He does want to touch all of us if we are willing to allow ourselves to surrender to Him. Thank you for speaking to us, Frank. We miss your happy spirit among us, but we know that you, Anna and Kristan are doing a great work among the churches. May you all be blessed!
