August 23rd, 2014 – Sermon on “[Not] Sweet Talk” by Michael Smith

Michael Smith’s sermon on “[Not] Sweet Talk”  focused on the decisions we make to server God or not and some of the ways we need to protect our faith. Michael started out with a recipe for a sweet and contrasted that with the scripture dealing with Elijah’s challenge to the priests of Baal and the way God revealed Himself to Elijah. He ended with advice on depression.

Michael Smith 1-12-13 Michael used the following scriptures: 1 Kings 16:33, 18:17-18, 21-23, 27, 1 Kings 18:27, 1 Kings 19:3-4, 10-13

    Michael,

Thank you for your sermon, Mike. It was encouraging to hear once more how God deals with His children. If we understood God’s presence in our lives, we would trust Him more. . . through the good times and the bad times.

I appreciate you and your family, Michael. May God bless you. . .

    Gladys
