John Arnold McCoy’s sermon on “Shaky legs, the little drummer boy, and God in high definition” was a mixture of thoughts including John’s testimony about overcoming fear, his respect for how God is apparent in the world, and how our testimony should focus on relating to others how God is real to us. Some notable quotes are: “What happened in your life that made Him real to you?” and “How do you overcome fear?”
John used the following scriptures: Ps. 19:1, John 14:8-9, 2 Tim. 2:15, 1 Pt. 3:15, Matt. 25:24-26

John,
Thanks for giving the sermon and for making it very interesting. Although you say you are more comfortable with words (on a page), you have a gift for speaking also. The emphasis on testimonies was refreshing.
Jeff
Good sermon! Thanks for being willing to speak.
John
John,
Thank you for speaking Sabbath. I appreciated your testimony in regard to your fear . . . that when you addressed it and received the peace you asked God for, He was there.
I well remember the little boy who fought so hard to not be afraid. If you think about it, this was, and is, a scary place until you place your trust in God. My hope is that some of the congregation will understand that they can overcome their fears also.
I appreciate you and your family, John. May God be very close to you.
