October 25th, 2014 – Sermon on “These three men…Noah, Daniel, Job!” by Nathan Lawson

Nathan Lawson’s sermon on “These three men…Noah, Daniel, Job!” used the three men as examples of committed lives.  Nathan took each man and showed how he maintained his relationship with God in the face of challenges.  Some notable statements were: “Are you nathan2allowing the world to seep in?” and “no one can do it for you and no one can take it from you”.

Nathan used the following scriptures: Gen. 6:8-9, Dan. 6:25-26, Job 19:23-24, Ez. 14:12-14 + 20, Acts 2:37-40, Phi. 2:12-15, 2 Pt. 1:10-11

Nathan Lawson is an Elder at the Conroe Church of God 7th Day and lives in Conroe, TX.

He is the retired pastor of the Conroe church and was preaching by request.

    Nathan,

    Thanks for continuing in your long line of good sermons, we need to be focused on the world in our lives and you did a good job bringing that out.

    Nathan,

    Oh, to be like these three men . . . Noah, Daniel and Job! It seems that “times” are getting worse and worse for Christians. If we can live our lives for Him, we will shine brighter because of the darkness all around us. However, it means that we must fix our eyes on the Goal as the days go by.

    Thank you for reminding us of the strength that these men exhibited and pray with us that we will live our lives for God every day!
