February 28th, 2015 – Sermon on “Life is like a Burrito” by Jerome Camero

Jerome Camero’s sermon on “Life is like a Burrito” started with anecdotes and continued with an often humorous interpretation of Jacob’s struggle with an angel. Some interesting quotes are: “Good and bad are wrapped up in the same burrito”, “Jacob was mugged in a fixed fight”, and “Being chosen probably means you are going to suffer”.

Jerome used the following scriptures: Gen. 32:24-30

    Jerry,

Enjoyed your sermon and the encouragement you gave us in regard to accepting the tough times that we will suffer when we are chosen people of God. I think that to be forewarned is to be forearmed. I notice that after a time of closeness to God, we are usually attacked by Satan. Thank you for coming and speaking to us. May God bless you and yours. . .
