Paul PedersenPastor Paul Pedersen’s sermon on “The Power of Hope” explored the element of Hope in our lives as Christians. Paul covered how we get Hope and what the impact of Hope is. Paul used his testimony about his early ministry to illustrate the strength of hope.

Paul used the following scriptures: Heb. 3:6, 6:11, 18-19, 7:19, 9:24+. Rom. 6:23, 15:4 +13, Ps. 100:1-2, 112:6-8, 1 John 5:10-12, James 4:8

    Paul,

    What an encouraging sermon! I didn’t realize that there is so much in the Bible about Hope and the role it plays in our lives. Without our Hope in God and the future Kingdom, life would become very tedious; but, when one has Hope, the problems that we face in this life become small and easier to bear.

      Thank you Gladys. As I was studying Hebrews, I was inspired by the frequent use of concept of hope. A quick search in a concordance will show hope all throughout the Bible. It is a powerful message for us to be a people of faith, hope, and love.
