Pastor Pedersen describes the sermon as: This Sabbath’s message looks at a sermon that Paul preached in Antioch. The Gentiles in Antioch wanted to hear it preached again the following Sabbath. Nearly the whole city came to listen to Paul. Paul preached about how God used Israel and the line of King David to bring us the Savior Jesus. Paul showed how Jesus came, died, and rose from the dead just as scripture prophesied that He would. Paul pointed to the good news of Jesus that all can receive forgiveness and be justified before God. There are two big things that we can apply from this passage. First, God was at work bringing about his plan. Second, God’s plan was the good news of Jesus Christ. God is still at work today. We need to Join the Work.
May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
Notable quotes were “Where do I fit into the big picture of what God is doing?”, “Why did Jesus come? So we can have forgiveness”, and “Responding to God’s calling requires faith in action”
Paul used the following scriptures: Acts 13:13-42, Duet 7:1, Is 53:4-6 +10, John 3:16

Paul,
I especially enjoyed your comments on the fact that you joined us in our work for Jesus. I think that unity is one of the greatest gifts that we receive. The fellowship and the love we feel toward one another, as we strive to work together, is truly a great blessing to all of us.
The lessons that we learn from Paul and his life are truly great. I wonder if Paul could have had that much of God’s Holy Spirit if he had not endured so many heartaches. The lesson for us is that we can grow through our trials, if we turn them over to God.
Blessings on you and your family. . .
