Paul Pedersen describes his sermon as follows: Can we count ourselves in the number of those marching to Zion? Are we a part of the Kingdom of heave? In the sermon Jesus preached on mountain, Jesus began to declare blessings to those that are a part of His Kingdom. The Kingdom of heaven and its blessings can have both a present and future fulfillment in our lives. In this message, I look at those that are a part of that Kingdom. Jesus expected something from both their inward character as well as their outward actions. I challenge us to examine our own personal character and actions. Does it line up with the teaching of Jesus? Those that are a part of the Kingdom of Heaven are tried in the fire and come out refined like gold.
Paul used the following scriptures: Matt. 4:23-25, Matt. 5:1-12, James 2:18, Psalms 117:1-2, John 15:20, 2 Cor. 4:7-9, Deut. 31:6

Paul,
Enjoyed your sermon on the Beatitudes. There is so much to digest in those verses, and, truly, we can take a whole lot from each verse. There is that over-riding need for humility. I think that we must search ourselves, as you said, and realize how important this is to a Christian life.
Glad you and your family enjoyed a happy Thanksgiving. It is the one holiday that we can fully enjoy. Blessings on you. . .
