June 23rd, 2016 – Sermon on “What’s Our Mission?” by Paul Pedersen

Paul PedersenPastor Paul describes the sermon as : We are beginning a series of messages about the mission of our church. The goal is to become completely focused on what our mission as a church is. We need to be able to apply this mission to what we do as a church. Any mission begins with the mandate from God. Jesus calls us to love God and others. Jesus commands us to make disciples, baptize them, and teach them His truths. We have a mandate from Christ. That mandate becomes our mission as a church. This message looks not just at this mission, but also how we can fulfill this mission. May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you

Paul used the following scriptures: Matthew 22:36-40; Matthew 28:18-20; Ephesians 4:11-12; Philippians 3:7

    Paul,

I was happy that you gave scriptures to show that the Bible contains our Mission Statement. It was a very encouraging message, and I thank you for delivering it to us. As we study these items together, we get a greater sense of purpose as a fellowship. May God help us all to realize the great and wonderful gift that He has given to us. I enjoy the series that you are delivering.

May you continue to bless us with your sermons. . .

    Gladys
