Paul describes the sermon as: Jesus rose from the dead, and this gives us supreme hope. We too will rise from the dead and have eternal life. In Mark 16, the women going to Jesus’ tomb found the stone rolled away which was blocking the entrance to the tomb. They saw a young man, an angel, clothed in a white robe, sitting by the tomb. They were afraid. The angel spoke to them. We will examine closely what the angel said.
