  1. Jeff says:

I appreciate the focus on Christian Facebook activity. However, Facebook usage can be a disorder. There is a condition named Facebook Addiction Disorder Syndrome (FAD). An article found on http://www.spiderkerala.net/resources/6636-Facebook-Addiction-Disorder-Syndrome.aspx lists the following characteristics of FAD.

    1. The first thing you do in the morning is to check your Facebook account.
    2. Whenever you are not online, you daydream of all the comments and status updates that have been received recently.
    3. You spend hours and hours on Face book (or in short waste a lot of precious time).
    4. Your day ends only after a last check of your Facebook account and wishing everyone ‘Goodnight’ as a status update.

I myself follow the news rather closely during the day. Maybe there is a syndrome for that like Internet News Addiction disorder (INA).

  3. Gladys McCoy says:

Enjoyed your sermon, Nathan. Wish that my grandkids could have heard it. I do understand the “Addiction” possibility regarding Facebook, as Jeff mentioned. I have noticed this is some instances. Thanks for your insights!
