Chip Hinds’ sermon on “Faith that Works” started with a description of the vision of the COG7 which is “becoming and building a vibrant church in the 21st century”. The sermon itself presented several questions including “What is spiritual maturity” and “What’s truth without Love?”
Chip used the following scriptures: Luke 18:1-8, Rom. 1:11-17, Hab. 2:1-4, Eph. 4:30-32, 1-6, 11-24, Matt. 18:21-22, Gal. 5:22-26, James 2:17, and Ps. 139:1-4, 23-24.
Elder Chip and Mary Hinds are from Tahleguah, OK and he is the southwestern district superintendent of the COG7 and he preaches today by invitation.

The Droid and perhaps Windows Phone currently do not fully support the SmartPhone App sermon playback feature, it is better to access the blog directly from the http:://sermonblog.net site on those platforms for this feature, but the balance of the features work as expected.
Chip and Mary,
Enjoyed your visit to our Conroe Church last Sabbath. It is always a blessing to see both of you.
Chip, your sermon was very encouraging and reminded all of us that without faith, there is no hope for us. We simply cannot be good enough! The “Truth without Love” leaves us sadly wanting, too. If we could grasp the whole truth about Faith, Truth, Obedience and Love, we would be close to the entire Gospel. Thanks again for the great effort you put into your sermon for us. Hurry back! God bless!
