Paul Pedersen’s sermon on “The two Paths of Christian Living” contrasted the two ways of life described by Jesus in the sermon on the mount. Paul gave many examples of the Broad Way and the Narrow Way, especially expounding on the forgiveness of sin.
Pastor Pedersen describes the sermon as: Jesus tells his followers that there are two gates opening to two paths. One path is broad and it leads to destruction. The other path is narrow and it leads to life. These paths do not connect, and the narrow path does not allow for compromise. However, if you are ready to switch from the broad path to the narrow path, then Jesus is willing to forgive you of your sins, and grant you access to the narrow path which leads to Eternal Life. May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
Notable quotes were “The choices we make today, impact our future”, “We all have chosen a path”, “God is not OK with sin” and ” There is no straddling the (2) paths”
Paul used the following scriptures: Matt. 7:13-14, 20-23, Mark 8:34-37, Gal. 5:16-17

Paul,
Your sermon about the two paths, which are not something we can choose without consequence, was very thought provoking. Although we know the end of the road for each path, it is good to realize the result for each road we choose. We all need to be reminded of the warning if we choose the wrong road and if our loved ones do, and how we need to help others to find the Godly road before it is too late.
Thank you for the reminder of the seriousness of the two paths. . .
Blessings on you and yours. . .
Gladys
