The sermon on “Sowing Seed” by Paul Pedersen is described by Paul as: This message concludes the series on Following Christ. In this message, I explain how we are to be seed sowers. In Matthew 13, Jesus gives a parable. A parable is a simple story from everyday life told by way of illustration and comparison. Jesus speaks of seed sown in good soil as well as in other places not conducive for growing seed. Jesus calls the seed the “word” which is meant to be planted in the hearts of men and women. I believe strongly in Bible Classes and Bible studies where the word of God can be sowed in our hearts. Yet, the True Word is Jesus. Jesus is the seed meant to be planted in our hearts. And, we are the seed sowers. Jesus gave us the job of sowing and watering that seed. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are seed sowers.

Your sermon on the sowing of seeds was very true to the illustration in the Bible. Yes, there is one great seed sower, and we al know Him. What a blessing to be able to call on the Master and His Holy Spirit. As we study and learn about God’s ways in our lives, we can come closer to the Master. Thanks for your words of wisdom.
