May 26, 2012 – Sermon on “The Battle of Good and Evil: The War for Men’s Souls” by Jody McCoy

Jody McCoy’s sermon on The Battle of Good and Evil started with defining what Good is. the question of “How is God good when he allows evil” was asked and answered. Jody asserted that we take on too much when we try to judge God according to our limited standards. God defines goodness. He ended with explaining how we get in trouble when we seperate God from Good.

These scriptures were used: Rom. 7:19, 22-24, rom. 8:13, Rom. 11:48, Mark 10:18, 2Chron. 7:3, 12:04-7

    Jody,

    Sorry to be so slow in responding to your talk on Good and Evil. When we realize that God is truly and always GOOD, then we can relax and trust Him completely. Thanks for your talks,Jody. I know you spend a lot of time getting ready for each one, and they are always a blessing to all of us. May God keep you in His care always!
