Jeff Kendrick cropped 2Jeff Kendrick’s sermon on “Hearing from God” or “Spiritual Resonance” was about the mechanics of hearing from God, following the process from prayer to God’s response. Jeff included ways to enhance the process and listed the reasons we don’t hear from God. Special emphasis was given Acts 10 and the part prejudice plays in our lives.

Art Cummings’ sermon on “Growing together in God’s Love” started with observations gleaned over a lifetime and focused on the differences between men and women from childhood through marriage adjustments.

John Crisp’s sermon on “God and Moms” was given on Mother’s Day and naturally focused on JohnCrispthe essential role of mothers in our lives. John started with humor and used scripture and other quotes and a poem to make his point. Michael Smith’s sermon on “Know a good carpenter?” was a testimony of his life as a carpenter when much younger and the various spiritual applications that can be made to the world of carpentry. Michael Smith 1-12-13Michael started with leading the children in song and directed much of his sermon to the youth. Jody Crowson’s sermon on “Character Matters” focused initially on Saul and David’s character and demonstrated the differences in the results of decisions they made. Jody then shared how the New Testament Jody Crowsontreated this subject concluding that on God makes us acceptable to Himself.
