August 3rd, 2013 – Sermon on “The Power of Unity” by Frank Camarillo

Frank Camarillo’s sermon  on The Power of Unity was a call for the COG7 churches to unite and through uniting, accomplish great things. Frank is the COG7 representative  to the churches in the Galveston, Harris, Montgomery and perhaps the Walker county area and as a result visits a different church each week. It is from this perspective that he gave this sermon. When asked about what specifically we could accomplish, Frank named two areas after some discussion: Non English or Spanish speaking people groups in our area and cities that have concentrations of youth but no church presence such as Bryan / College Station.

Frank CamarilloFrank used the following scriptures: Deut. 34:1-4, Josh. 1:7-8,6:1-20, Ps. 133:1-3

Frank and his family call the COG7 in Conroe their home church but they travel between the churches in the greater Houston area and beyond representing the COG7 district leadership.

    Frank,
It was good to have you and Anna with us last Sabbath. It is always a blessing to see your happy, smiling faces. I do appreciate the work you are doing in the churches in the District. Your sermon reminded us of the work we can accomplish together when we are all “on the same page.” I am sure that it helps you when you can see the big picture, when you are acquainted with the various church pastors and workers. Thank you for the encouragement you give to our brothers and sisters. May God continue to bless your efforts!
    Gladys
