Pastor Paul describes the sermon as : Hannah vowed to God that if He blessed her with a child that she would give him to the Lord. God blessed her, and she fulfilled her vow. She stated, “As long as he lives, he will be dedicated to the Lord.” God is not asking us to give up on our children and grandchildren. Rather, we dedicate our children to Him. We need to dedicate ourselves to train them in God’s Word and to walk in His ways. We need to dedicate ourselves to pray for our children. We need to dedicate ourselves to surrender them back to God. A day will or come (or for some has come already) when our children will leave the safety of our home. This is the time to put our faith in God and continue to show our children and grandchildren love as they go through the good times and rough times.
For those that do not have children, this message may not impact them as much. However, I believe the principles of faith and prayer can apply regardless of who you are.
Paul used the following scriptures: 1 Samuel 1:10,11, 27

PAUL,
What an encouraging sermon for all of us
Paul,
What an encouraging sermon for all of us, whether we are the children dedicated to God, or the one who is being dedicated! Thank you, Paul, for reminding us that the ultimate position for our children to find themselves is in the Master’s arms.
Looking forward to our services tomorrow. May God bless you and yours. . . .
