Jody McCoy’s sermon on “The battle for the Heart” is the third part in a four-part series. In this part Jody explained the price to God that our salvation cost and therefore the value of our lives. He contrasted committment to God against being a friend of the world. A summary could be made in this way: Recognize the payment that God made for our lives and live accordingly.
Jody used the following scriptures: Matt. 5:38-39, 43-48, 6:19-21, 22:37-39, 15:8, 1 John 3:10, 2:15-17, John 14:21, 15:17-19, James 4:4.

Jody,
Thanks for taking on the sizable task of this series of sermons. I thought the explanation of how our lives are valued to be good. I can’t recall ever hearing it explained that way.
Jeff
Jody,
Enjoyed so much being reminded of just how great our Father’s love is for us. When I realize the great sacrifice He was willing to make for each of us, it makes me more aware of how very much we owe Him our love!
I recognize the time and effort you speakers put into our Sabbath serices, and I really appreciate and gain a blessing from each sermon. Thanks again for your desire to inspire all of us, Jody. Thanks again to Jeff for making this all possible. May your week go well!
