Jeff Kendrick’s sermon on ” the Sweet Spot” endeavored to present the congregation with the definition of the spiritual sweet spot, our relative position to it depending on our spiritual lifestyle and a recipe for staying in it for life. He used words from Steven Curtis Chapman’s song “the Change” and the following scriptures: Rev. 3:20, Matt: 5:1-11, Eph: 2:10, and Matt. 7:7-8.

Jeff,
What an uplifting sermon you presented yesterday! If people could only realize the truths you spoke. . . that we gain so many blessings from living in the “Sweet Spot” here and now. Eternal life is the frosting on the cake. . . right?
All three of you make me happy each Sabbath as I see your smiling faces. What a blessing to share the truths that are there for us. I especially enjoyed the words to the song “The Change”. You used some of my favorite Bible verses. Thanks for all you do for all of us!
Gladys
Gladys,
Thanks for your encouragement, you know the sweet spot includes encouragers.
As for the sermon, I looked back through my notes for evidence of some of the things that were included and I didn’t find them. I conclude that the Lord is our inspiration and is in control when we yield to His guidance.
